BTCC confirms 2019 calendar with traditional visit to Croft included

The Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship has confirmed its calendar for the 2019 season with Croft Circuit set to stage the fourth event of the year on June 15/16.

Underlining its position as Britain's premier race series by confirming its race dates for the following year at this early stage, the championship will once again comprise of 30 races across ten weekends - three per event of equal distance.

Starting at Brands Hatch in early April, the BTCC will move on to Donington Park and Thruxton before then making the annual trip to North Yorkshire. Switching positions with Oulton Park on the calendar, Croft will play host to rounds 10, 11 and 12 in 2019 in mid-June - a week earlier than this year.

Following the traditional mid-season summer break the series will head to Snetterton, pay a second visit to Thruxton and then go to Knockhill and Silverstone, before bringing the curtain down on proceeding's around the Grand Prix circuit of Brands Hatch in October.

As always, the BTCC's visit to Croft will also see a host of TOCA support championships compete as well. Tickets for the event will be available to purchase in the coming months.
