Car Race Meeting - Croft Nostalgia Weekend Meeting
7th & 8th Aug
At last the North-East has its own historic racing carnival! Croft’s inaugural and much-anticipated Nostalgia Weekend takes place on the weekend of 7th & 8th August. Sixteen races for a mouth-watering collection of saloon, sports, GT and single-seater cars spanning four decades – ‘40s, ‘50s, ‘60s & 70s – are on the bill. But there’s so much more with off-track entertainment including military, classic car & motorcycle and air displays, a 1940s Fashion Show and even a George Formby act.
The public are invited to join those competing in dressing up in period costume and adding to the atmosphere in what is a first-ever for the North-East. Military and GIs, Teddyboys, spivs, Mods n Rockers, miniskirts, Flower Power, flares, platform shoes, Glamrock… all are welcome! What’s more, tickets cost just as little as £12 on Saturday and £15 on Sunday, while kids 15 and under go FREE.
7th Aug - £12 on day
8th Aug - £15 on day
